Doctrinal Statement

What We Believe

We believe, as it is written, that the Bible is the inspired, Word of God, written by Holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost ( II Timothy 3: 16)

We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purposes, as well as omniscience and omnipresent (Psalms 147:5)

We believe that the Lord was revealed to us as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Spirit that comes to abide with us forever and never leaves those who trust him (John 1:1-18, John 14:16-18, I John 5:7)

We believe that in Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19, Colossians 2:9, I Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the virgin birth. JESUS was both human and divine (Mathew 1:23, Hebrews 2:16)

We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of JESUS (I Corinthians 15:3-4)

We believe that He ascended on high and sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and it is the same Spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today ( Ephesians 4:8, Acts 2:1-4)

We believe in baptism in water by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth (Matthew 28:19, John 3:3-6; Acts 2:38)

We believe in a holy, sacrificed life (1 Peter 1:15-16) divine healing, (Mark 16:17-18) and communion (I Corinthians 11:23-26)

We believe also in the glorious catching away (The Rapture) of the saints when JESUS returns in the clouds in glory to take HIS people to Heaven (1 Thessalonians 4: 14-18)

We believe that JESUS is the only saving name and whatsoever you do in word or in deed, do all in the NAME OF JESUS (Colossians 3:17)
