A life called to ministry
Bishop Smith is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Life Ministries, a thriving Pentecostal congregation that has faithfully served the Greater Toronto Area since December 1999. Through his anointed preaching, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to biblical truth, his ministry has impacted and transformed many lives over the years.
In 2015, he was elevated to the Office of Bishop within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.). He currently serves as the Diocesan Bishop of the Canada District Council, the 55th Episcopal District of the P.A.W., which encompasses twenty-three (23) churches across Canada.
Additionally, Bishop Smith serves as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee of the P.A.W., a position he has faithfully held for the past eight (8) years, and as Director of the International Christian Education Auxiliary of the P.A.W.

A growing family of congregations
In 2012, Bishop Smith was appointed Bishop and Overseer of Refuge Temple Kingdom Life Ministries in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He later assumed oversight of Mount Zion Apostolic Kingdom Life Ministries in Jamaica in 2018.
In the latter quarter of 2025, the Kingdom Life Family of Churches expanded further with the addition of Bethel Apostolic Kingdom Life Ministries in Antigua. Bishop Smith diligently serves these congregations and annually leads mission initiatives to support their spiritual and practical needs.

A passionate advocate for missions and humanitarian outreach, Bishop Smith serves as Chairman of the Board of Charity Service Faith Mission. Through this organization, he recently led a mission to Malawi, providing school supplies, food, and access to clean drinking water to underserved communities.
He is presently spearheading fundraising efforts to supply desks for students currently learning on bare floors and to drill boreholes that will provide sustainable access to clean water in rural villages.

Professionally, Bishop Smith is a seasoned accountant with over three decades of service as Financial Controller for the RE/MAX organization, from which he retired a few years ago. Academically, he has attained a Doctorate in Divinity, a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Christian Education, and a Bachelor of Science degree. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Shiloh Christian Institute and as a board member of Cornerstone Academy of Biblical Studies (CABS).

Bishop Smith is a native of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and the son of the late Bishop Herbert Edward Smith and the late Lurty Adassa Smith. He is the youngest of nine siblings, four brothers and four sisters, with two siblings deceased.
In September 1989, he was united in holy matrimony to Kareen Sandra Lancaster. Together, they are the proud parents of three children; Kandice, Charice, and Dylan, and have recently been blessed with a daughter-in-law, Jizelle, the wife of Dylan.
