During the period of April 24th to May 3rd 2007, we traveled to Kisumu, Kenya on mission for Jesus.  Our main area of ministry was at Overcomers Children’s Home where over 150 orphans are currently being accommodated.  We also traveled to other parts of the country including Kisii, and Ogembo.

During our travels, we were able to witness first-hand the severe lack of proper food, accommodation, clothing and educational opportunities.  The need in that area of the world is very great.  Many of our team members wept openly when we saw the conditions that these helpless children were living in.

During the short time we were there, we provided beds, clothing, shoes, food, and hygiene products to many of the orphans.  The little we did was received with so much gratitude it broke our hearts.
